⚙️ Configuration Guide

Swift PIP works seamlessly with zero configuration, provided a few simple conventions are in place. Follow these simple conventions, and Swift PIP will work right out of the box.

First convention: using a Jira Custom Field for SAFe Planning Increment. As an administrator, create a custom field to represent the SAFe Planning Increment:

1. Field Name: Name the field “PI,” “Program Increment,” or “Planning Increment” (case-insensitive).
2. Field Type: Set the field type to either single choise or multiple choice.

This field will enable proper tagging and filtering for PI Planning in SwiftPIP.
